Keeping Up with Compliance: Financial Conflicts of Interest in University Research

Wednesday, November 13, 2013 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

Recently, research compliance regulations affecting financial conflicts of interest changed in a big way – making institutions more effective at ensuring research integrity and transparency, but at the same time, greatly increasing burdens placed on faculty and staff.

So, what are the regulatory changes and how are our institutions coping with it? How is this affecting institutional research overall? Join us to hear from a diverse panel including an IRB director, surgeon, conflict of interest committee member and FCOI program manager to find out.
