Tuesday, December 17, 2013 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

The Supreme Court's decision to strike down provisions of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in US v. Windsor paved the way for bi-national same-sex couples to receive immigration benefits.  Join Attorney Richard Iandoli in a discussion of the practical implications of this groundbreaking decision.  Attorney Iandoli will highlight potential post-DOMA pitfalls and cover topics including eligibility for marriage-based green cards and nonimmigrant derivative status.
