Join us for a discussion of Directors & Officers (D&O) liability
insurance policies for nonprofits and the doctrine of charitable immunity.
This seminar will focus on, among other things, key provisions in D&O
policies, the recent SJC decision in Estate of Moulton v. Puopolo and what it
means for Massachusetts nonprofits, and the doctrine of charitable immunity in
Massachusetts, its limits and recent developments. Our two speakers are Suzanne
E. Ibbeken, of ARM, Albert Risk Management Consultants, and Kenneth
Kohlberg. Mr. Kohlberg is a trial and appellate lawyer at Hamel, Marcin, Dunn,
Reardon & Shea in Boston. Ken provides legal advice and serves as
counsel to academic medical institutions, charitable and nonprofit corporations,
health maintenance organizations, and individual health care providers.
