Life After Law: Finding A Post-Law Career You Love, A Conversation with Liz Brown

Thursday, March 13, 2014 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

Are you thinking of leaving the law, but not sure how to do it successfully?  This is the event for you.  A Harvard-trained former law partner, Liz Brown is the author of the best-selling new book featured in the January 2014 issue of ABA Journal, Life After Law: Finding Work You Love with the JD You Have.   Speaking from personal experience and extensive research, Liz will lead an interactive discussion of why so many lawyers struggle with career change and creative, effective strategies for identifying next steps.   Her pragmatic approach to professional reinvention inspires real and positive change.  She encourages lawyers to draw inspiration from the thirty ex-lawyers profiled in Life After Law, all of whom have found more engaging work outside of law.
