CLE - Conflicts of Interest in Estate Planning and Fiduciary Representation

This program is designed to facilitate a meaningful discussion about the many conflicts that arise (or may arise) in the context of estate planning and fiduciary litigation.  The panelists will guide the practitioners through real examples and will discuss issues to identify and ways to approach drafting to avoid some of the potential conflicts.  The panelists will also talk about best practices regarding engagement letters and conflict waivers.

  • Estate Planning and Drafting: Joint Representation of Spouses and Multi-generational Representation
  • Lawyer Serving as Fiduciary
  • Fiduciary Representation and Litigation

This program is eligible for 3 hours of ethics credits . The BBA is an accredited provider in Rhode Island, New York, California, Maine, and Vermont. If you need credit in another state for attendance for one of our accredited programs, we can provide you with a certificate of attendance to fill out for your jurisdiction. Forms certifying your attendance will be provided on the day of the program.
