Renewable Energy & the Environment: Addressing and Mitigating Environmental Impacts Related to De-carbonizing the Grid

Description:

This program will focus on addressing “traditional” environmental challenges that arise in the context of expanding renewable energy and other related infrastructure, such as transmission lines.  As new infrastructure is developed around the region, stakeholders will need tools to address and mitigate impacts related to threatened and endangered species, fisheries and marine mammals, wetlands, and various other land-use and environmental considerations.
