Digital Accessibility on Today's Campus: The Law, the Challenges and Some Practical Approaches

Description:

This program will help higher education institutions understand the obligations and opportunities inherent in maintaining a robust online environment.  This presentation will focus on sharing the basics of web accessibility, the relevant legal and industry standards, some considerations when negotiating vendor agreements for online services, and tips for navigating the recent spate of web access complaints filed with OCR (as well as claims that can be raised by individuals).
