H-1B Cap Season: How to Avoid Now & Address Later Requests for Evidence on Specialty Occupation and Level 1 Wages

Friday, February 16, 2018 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Join us for a discussion focused on the challenges presented by Department of Labor ‘Standard Occupational Classification” (“SOC”) Codes, available for use in filing H-1B nonimmigrant petitions on behalf of U.S. employers’ specialty occupation candidates. The program will cover the most commonly used SOC Codes for IT professions, classifications to be avoided due to recent U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services processing trends, and strategies to use in responding to USCIS Requests for Evidence, challenging the SOC Code selection, or corresponding Prevailing Wage Level for a given H-1B role.
