Description:

Come join us as an attorney and forensic accountant demystify Massachusetts’ unique “reference” procedure, the statutorily-mandated means for resolving disputes over the amount of loss in many first-party insurance claims. The discussion will include an overview of the reference procedure, the impact a reference decision can have upon other aspects of the claim, and practical tips for using reference to your clients’ advantage.
