Description:

"Friday Fundamentals” is the BBA’s weekly educational series designed to offer an introduction to the basic legal skills and fundamental knowledge lawyers need to get a foothold and grow in their understanding of a given area of practice. Click here to view a full list of the BBA’s upcoming Fundamentals programs.

In its Friday Fundamental program, the Tax Section will present a simple business transaction and analyze it from five different tax law perspectives: federal income, ERISA, international, state and local, and gift and estate.  Discussion of the impact of likely tax reform measures will be included, as applicable.  The program will be useful for tax lawyers and for non-tax lawyers who want to know when to call a tax lawyer for help.
