Networking for Business Development

Monday, March 12, 2018 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

Most attorneys spend time networking: we understand it to be an essential part of our jobs, and an activity that helps to create and sustain our work, by bringing work in to our practices.  But, how does networking lead to business development?

This event will feature a panel of experienced practitioners – and networkers! – discussing how and where they network.  We’ll ask what has worked for them, what they have tried, and how they go about identifying fruitful uses of their time for networking.  The conversation will cover how to use networking to build and maintain relationships that will help you to develop business, to refer business to others, and to recognize how your practice area and practice type (solo, partners, associates) may affect how and where you network.

The panel discussion will be followed by networking and socializing, with drinks and appetizers.
