The Bankruptcy Bench Meets Bar Conference is an annual opportunity for bankruptcy professionals and the Federal Bankruptcy Court Judges to meet and share insights, observations and analysis on key issues for 2018 and beyond.


I. Hot Topics in 363 Sales
An examination of recent cases that allow a debtor to sell property free and clear of leases under § 363(f) even if the tenant elects to retain its rights under the lease.  The panel will also review cases deciding whether the term “aggregate value of all liens” in 363(f)(3) means the face amount of the liens, or the actual value of the property.
