SJC Clarifies c. 21E Property Damage Statute of Limitations: A Debrief on the Grand Manor Condominium Ass’n v. City of Lowell Decision

Wednesday, March 28, 2018 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

In its recent decision in Grand Manor Condominium Association v. City of Lowell, the SJC held that the statute of limitations does not begin to run for claims brought under G.L. c. 21E, § 5(a)(iii) until the plaintiff has notice that the damage to their property from environmental contamination cannot reasonably be cured by remediation.  Join us for a discussion of the progression of the case, the Court’s decision, and its potential impact on 21E litigation.
