Description:

After years of excessive fee litigation under Section 36(b) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, the recent trial decision with BlackRock, and pending decisions with Calamos and MetWest, could provide an important inflection point regarding future claims.  Hear from BlackRock's trial counsel about lessons learned from that trial and others, important takeaways for fund boards and advisers, and how firms can mitigate litigation risk going forward.
