Clients Who Are Potential Elder Fraud or Financial Exploitation Victims: Identifying Red Flags and What Attorneys Can To Do

Friday, November 30, 2018 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

Description:

Come learn about what red flags to watch for when evaluating whether your client is showing signs of diminished capacity and at risk of becoming a victim of elder fraud or financial exploitation.  As the population ages and lives with diseases impacting their capacity to make informed decisions, the elderly are at great risk for succumbing to undue influence and financial abuse.  Attorneys are often at the forefront of spotting these issues and should be armed with the tools to put measures in place to protect their clients and react when a victim is identified.
