Building a Water Innovation Hub in Massachusetts

Tuesday, November 27, 2018 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

How is the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (CEC) working to jump-start innovative water businesses, demonstrate new technologies, and bring bench-scale pilots to full scale?  Come hear from Michael Murphy, the director of Water Innovation at the CEC, and Miles Walker, Vice President at Woodard & Curran, to learn about the CEC’s current work to support a vibrant entrepreneurial water technology hub, and recently completed feasibility studies done by Woodard & Curran for three Water Technology Demonstration Centers.  Strengthening the water technology hub in Massachusetts to build on the expertise, knowledge, and investment of academia, start-up businesses, industry, engineering and consulting firms, and government in Massachusetts is the long game.  The CEC is a key player working to accelerate the development of new water technologies, advance feasibility reviews, support market launch and adoption of technology to solve the most difficult water quality issues of today and the future.
