Description:

Join us for an interview with Professor Lara Bazleon regarding her research on stereotypes in the courtroom, the challenges that she has observed for  trial lawyers, judges and jurors, and thoughts about how to not allow the stereotypes to take center stage and impact the process.   Professor Bazelon will also discuss how she is training the new generation of trial lawyers.   This interview will be followed by a panel discussion with  distinguished Massachusetts trial lawyers from  civil and criminal practices, judges and a clinical law professor who will comment on  Professor Bazelon’s article,  what they see in their courtrooms and  court appearances and how we approach change. The program will conclude with a networking reception.
