Description:

The Recently Elected Partners forum is designed to address the unique needs of lawyers who have transitioned into partnership within the past six years. The forum’s mission is twofold: to connect Boston’s new partners with tools and information to succeed in their new roles and to provide a networking resource among their peers. The Recently Elected Partners forum looks for guidance and mentorship through dynamic programming with some of Boston’s premier senior attorneys, looks to one another for networking, business development and referral opportunities through open meetings and social events, and looks around us for opportunities to give back to the community by participating in charity events.

At the start of each year, the REP Forum hosts a panel of managing partners and law firm leaders to talk with recently elected partners about how to navigate their new role and manage increased expectations within the firm. Panelists discuss ways new partners can create opportunities to meet professional goals, how to understand and contribute to the management model and business goals of the firm, how to handle internal relationships with associates and senior partners, and more. The panel will be moderated by a recently elected partner and there will be ample opportunities for audience Q&A throughout the discussion.

Whether you’re a junior partner or on the partner track, join us to broaden your professional network and set yourself up for success as a new partner in Boston.
