Description:
Obtain a more thorough grasp of mediation's value to you, your practice and
your clients from a highly seasoned attorney-mediator who, in nearly 30 years of
practice, has addressed more than 2,000 conflicts as a neutral in her 20 year
dispute resolution career. This program will address ways Mediation tends to be
underutilized and, in turn, discuss how to maximize its usefulness. In addition
to the nuts and bolts of how and when to contact a mediator and what to consider
when selecting a neutral, it will also cover how to best prepare yourselves and
your clients, tips on navigating mediated negotiations, and how to avoid
potentially deal-breaking moves.
