Understanding and Utilizing the Fiduciary Litigation Session

Tuesday, October 15, 2019 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

Trust and estate disputes can be hotly contested, involve complex legal issues, and linger in the crowded Probate and Family Courts.  The good news is that the second session of the Fiduciary Litigation Session of the Probate and Family Court is now up and running in order to hear complex trust and estate cases in a specialized session.

In this program, you will learn about the Fiduciary Litigation Session from The Honorable Edward F. Donnelly, Jr., who sits in the second session of the Fiduciary Litigation Session, and Evelyn J. Patsos, from the Administrative Office of the Probate and Family Court Department.  Learn what types of cases qualify for a transfer to this session, how to transfer a case, why you may want to have your case heard in the Fiduciary Litigation Session, and practice tips for litigating your case in the Fiduciary Litigation Session.
