The Cutting Edge Issues in Criminal Law

Monday, January 24, 2011 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Registration for this program is now closed.

This fast-paced annual criminal law program is designed to give the practitioner an overview of the major developments in state and federal criminal law and the impact of these cases as well as other administrative, legislative and procedural changes/issues that have impacted the practice of criminal law in these forums.

The program will include a special briefing by Mark A. Reilly, Chief Legal Counsel to the Governor, on his view of emerging criminal law issues.

In addition, a distinguished faculty of judges and practitioners from the federal and state courts will discuss significant changes in criminal law in 2010 as well as anticipated issues for 2011 and beyond.

You will learn approaches to the law and criminal practice that prosecutors and defenders, alike, can take full advantage of to maximize the benefits and minimize the drawbacks of the practice in this interesting and important area of the law.

Its one seminar you can’t afford to miss, and it’s free! There will be a reception following the panel discussions with appetizers and beer & wine.
