Privacy laws and regulations are playing an increasingly important role in many kinds of companies and other entities.  Attend this program to hear from the privacy officers at Citizens Bank, TD Banknorth, Oracle America, Iron Mountain, BJs Wholesale Club, Staples, CVS, MIT, and Mass. General Hospital to understand the challenges they face, and how their organizations have addressed them.

The panel of experts will explain how their organizations address privacy law and regulations at the state, federal and international levels.  This will include the Massachusetts Data Security Regulations, the European privacy regulations, and federal laws such as HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, FERPA and the FTC actions, as well as industry norms like the PCI standards. 

The panelists are from industry leaders in retail services, financial services, business services, health care and universities.  This program will be invaluable if you work with companies in these industries, or with any company that collects or maintains personally identifiable information of employees or customers.
