Walking Tour of Boston

Wednesday, April 27, 2011 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Faneuil Hall - , Boston, MA

Description:

Did you know that the site of Faneuil Hall was once water? That ships once tied up behind the Bostonian Hotel? That International Place is on the site of a high hill, cut down as Boston's first slum clearance project? Join the Senior Lawyers and New Lawyers Section to find out about these and other places in Boston's central waterfront area with historian Nancy Seasholes, author of Walking Tours of Boston's Made Land and Gaining Ground: A History of Landmaking in Boston.

The walk will begin at the Sam Adams statue in front of Faneuil Hall promptly at 4:00 pm, and will conclude at 5:30 pm for refreshments at Hennessy's at 25 Union Street.
