Chapter 124, An Act Reforming Alimony in The
Commonwealth, was signed by Governor Deval Patrick on September 26, 2011.
This Act substantially transforms alimony cases in Massachusetts and on March 1,
2012, G.L. c. 48 to 55 will go into effect. Are you ready?
