Wednesday, October 26, 2011 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

This Bench Meets Bar program is a golden opportunity to learn more about the rules, procedures, and programs in the District Court and Boston Municipal Court.  The judges will present on the Limited Assistance Representation program, which is a great way for young lawyers to gain experience representing their own client.

Specific Topics:

I. State of the Court
II. Procedures of the District Court and Motion Practice
III. Supplementary Process
IV. Limited Assistance Representation
V. Trial in the District Court

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions for the panelists in advance. Please e-mail questions to avid Robinson (dwr@riw.com) and Rebecca MacDowell (rmacdowell@brownrudnick.com) by 10/24.
