Expert Use of Experts
Thursday, November 17, 2011
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA
Description:
This interactive panel program will discuss how to hire the correct
expert, how to work effectively with the expert you employ, and how to prepare
your expert for testimony at trial. This skill seminar is useful for newer
attorneys who have never worked with an expert before as well as more senior
attorneys looking to perfect the nuances of expert selection and use. The
three-member panel will consist of a private Investigator with experience in
civil and criminal cases, a Toxicologist with experience in large toxic tort
cases, and the Director of Forensic Studies at the Massachusetts School of
Professional Psychology. Each member of the panel has extensive experience
in their field and as an expert witness at trial.
